Please give me any feedback on improvements!  I have a current line of belts, vintage scarfs and other accessories! There is still so much i gotta put up on my new site and I’m currently taking new clients for the holiday season with Timeless & Chic, LLC.  I have a few people working with me now so at least I’m not pulling out my hair like I was a few months ago

I’m taking a creative workshop this weekend with the Author of this book: Lisa Sonora Beam!  I’ve only began reading it and I know that this is EXACTLY what I’ve been searching for.  I’ve had life coaches and business coaches.  And although I have loved all of them and they are still to this day very dear to me, there was always something missing, well I was also not doing what I love at the, like I am today.  I have an excitement and something that’s stirring in my belly.  Creatively I haven’t even tapped into what I know is there in the depths of my soul.  I have not yet pulled it out.  Not that I don’t want to.  I just haven’t been directing myself in the way that would benefit me most right now.  Cause at the same time I don’t know what that is.  I’m nervous too! But in a good way.  I’m anxious for this weekend to be around artistic women.  To bond with Artisit , Create & Be Free™!!

So here I am!  Yes went to CHA!  Had an amazing time! Wow! So cool.  This was a different experience for me.  When I bravely entered into this industry of craziness in 2003, it was just that craziness.  Well it still is, but the Vibe is different.

Just to recap or if you didnt know the craft/scrapbook industry had a shift in the market in 2005 and unfortunetly alot of stores closed, including my own and I was lucky cause I closed right before it got REALLY bad.   Good companies went under, big companies bought small ones, its been crazy within the craziness.   And alot of damage happened along the way to good people!  Well that’s the past!

I went to CHA this month with a new set of eyes.  I was’nt going to go either, but I knew I needed to see things and people because I wanted to expand my creativity in my life, but I wasn’t sure in what direction or where I just knew I need to go and be around creative people!

There were only unfamiliar faces and new companies.  I only knew Melody Ross & Tamara Lipori, but that was perfect.   I met some amazing women through Melody.  She inspired me to jump out of my comfort zone.

The vibe, should I say, of the show was very humbling.  The vendors that I was drawn too, luckily, weathered the storm and I will continue to work with them.  Everyone seemed, more grounded.  Everything happens for a reason.  Its a God thing!  The industry needed to be reminded as to the meaning of this industry.  Its to preserve and give thanks, in my opinion.  That was lost along the way.  But its different now.

I went to CHA with a specific intention of opening up new accounts, researching and talking to people about starting a Kit Club, which I totally want to do to stay connected with my “scrapness.”

BUT I left with an entirely different creative idea.  I have so many ideas my mind is racing!!  There are so many things I want to do.  and this show confirmed it, I gotta do other things to feed the fashion bug I’ve always had.  I’ve always had the yearning and wanting of creating accessories like belts, bags, wallets, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses and jeans!  Well I’m going for it!  Life is too short, If I don’t do this I will kick myself in the butt!! So within the next week I’ll be sending out a notice to everyone about my new Etsy Store:  Eternally Chic!

I’m an artist.  That’s what I am.  For as long as I can remember all I wanted to do was create.  I’ve always been drawn to photography, colors, fabrics, clothes.   I hate shoping.  But when I do I prefer to go to Boutiques, thrift stores even the Salvation Army! I’ve always been drawn to the 60’s & Early 70’s Fashion.  And I’m an Entrepenuer!  And Love everything about business and want to learn and keep expanding with owning a business!

I remember always thinking in High School, (84-88) “I wish I could find low ride jeans.”  The kind Lauren Hutton wore in the 70’s.  I wish I came out with them myself, dang, missed that one! Or always carrying my water bottle and my friends wanted some, they’d always get mad, I never wanted to share Only because they NEVER listened to me about carrying their own.  Well a few years later Evian bottles came out, dang!  How simple of an idea, missed another one!

Well my point is I’m not gonna sit on my butt when I have this feeling in my stomach, this ache in my gut,  when I can’t sleep at night cause I just want to get this creative anxiety OUT of me.  I’m not going to do nothing! I’m not going to say anymore “there’s no way that’s going to happen.”  NO MORE!

I’m celebrating this year!! Everyday, Everyday, I will do something to grow my business, everyday!! I’m so excited for the challenge!  Bring it on!

This is the Year!  I know IT, I feel IT in my soul, in my BEING!
